Kofibranter Raum

aus Wikipedia, der freien Enzyklopädie

In der Mathematik heißt ein topologischer Raum kofibrant, wenn für jeden Punkt <math>x\in X</math> die Inklusion <math>\left\{x\right\}\to X</math> eine Kofaserung ist. Zum Beispiel sind CW-Komplexe kofibrante Räume.

Eine kofibrante Approximation (oder kofibrante Auflösung) eines topologischen Raumes <math>X</math> ist ein kofibranter Raum <math>\widetilde{X}</math> mit einer schwachen Homotopieäquivalenz <math>i\colon \widetilde{X}\to X</math>.
